Who we are
Ready to take the next step in your wellness journey?
I’m Lauren BSc, an osteopath and movement specialist behind Align & Thrive: Osteopathy & Wellness. My approach is holistic, evidence-based, and centred on understanding the whole person, not just the symptoms.
Alongside osteopathy, I bring extensive knowledge in personal training and injury rehabilitation, which allows me to create effective, integrated treatment plans that support long-term recovery, strength, and resilience.
I trained and worked in London for over 10 years, supporting private clients across a wide range of needs, from persistent pain and postural issues to injury rehabilitation and performance support. I have now returned to my hometown of Leicestershire to re-establish my practice, bringing the same high standard of personalised care developed in London to the local community.
At Align & Thrive, treatment is tailored, considered, and focused on helping you move well, feel confident in your body, and support lasting wellbeing.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a regulated, hands-on healthcare profession that focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing pain and movement problems. It is based on the principle that the body works as a connected system, meaning issues in one area can influence other parts of the body.
Osteopathic treatment uses a combination of manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, stretching, and rehabilitation exercises to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Treatment is always tailored to the individual, considering lifestyle, posture, activity levels, and overall health.
Osteopathy is suitable for both injury management and preventative care, helping people move better, recover effectively, and maintain long-term physical wellbeing.
